This study aimed to capture all the intended and unintended consequences
to determine the role of power supply to local medical and health-care
facilities. A survey was conducted to identify the energy needs as well as
challenges these facilities in rural areas encountered as a result of power
outages. The survey adopted a cross-sectional study design, of quantitative
method of data collection. The survey
was conducted in five districts of Jharkhand.
